    Overview

    Located on the outskirts of the historic city, our Oxford Club Site offers the opportunity for a city break and a countryside adventure.

     

    Boasting a restful ambience, Oxford Club Site is ideal for kicking back and relaxing after a day of pounding the city streets.

     

    Lying just a mile outside of Oxford, this campsite is the perfect base for exploring the magnificent city of dreaming spires.

     

    Walk, cycle or catch the bus from the site entrance into the city, where you’ll find plenty to see and do. Take some time to explore the University Museum of Natural History, home to the world's most complete remains of a dodo. Wander around the Pitt Rivers and Ashmolean Museums – the latter has 67 galleries to explore.

     

    Take a guided walking tour to explore the University colleges, Botanic Garden and Arboretum. Join a themed tour, exploring the filming locations of Harry Potter or Inspector Morse.

     

    Hop on a boat and take a punting tour on the River Cherwell, exploring the city and gazing at riverside colleges.

    These are grass pitches with no electric hook-up or other services, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome.

    Worth Noting

    • This city centre site can be a little noisy at times – with a railway and dairy adjacent to the site.
    • Entrance is shared with Go Outdoors.
    • There is no motorhome service point.
    • Electricity supply is 10amp.
    • Many pitches are not level, chocks may be required.
    • Please note that there is only room for one car/tow vehicle per pitch at our Oxford site. Paid parking is available at the Park and Ride close to the site for extra vehicles.

     

    Eat Local
