Some of the most popular beaches in Devon include Blackpool Sands, Woolacombe Bay, Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Combe Martin Beach.
Nestled within a crescent-shaped bay is the beautiful, award-winning, Blackpool Sands Beach. Located 1.5 miles away from our Dartmouth Club Site, the beach is within walking distance, but has ample parking too if you decide to drive.
Further afield is the stunning sandy bay of Bantham, which is positioned on the South West Coastal Path, a hotspot for walkers. Slapton Sands Beach and Thurlestone are close by too, and they are undoubtedly the best year-round dog-friendly beaches near our Dartmouth Club Campsite.
Salcombe North Sands is another beauty of a beach and welcomes dogs all year round. If you have brought your four-legged friend to Salcombe for an adventure, stick to the north beach, as dogs are only allowed to enjoy Salcombe South Sands between October and April.
Slapton Sands beach, just a 10-minute walk from the campsite of the same name, is a rip-roaring ribbon of sand and shingle that sweeps along South Devon’s eye-popping coastline, stretching from Monument in the north to Torcross in the south and patrolled by lifeguards throughout the summer.
