Brittany Ferries also offer a no-frills service called Brittany Ferries économie which operates from Portsmouth to Santander and Bilbao and Le Havre and Cork - Roscoff. This service is ideal for those who wish to travel to France or Spain at a very reasonable fare without the cruise style experience offered on Brittany Ferries other ships. On board, you’ll still find self-service restaurants and shops selling a range of tobacco, spirits, confectionery and gifts, however these are smaller and simpler than on their standard cruise ferries.

There are pet-friendly cabins available on their sailings too which you will need to book if travelling with a pet, as they will not be permitted to remain in your vehicle during the crossing.
