    We have a pup tent we use with our trailer tent, can that be covered too?
    Our Trailer Tent Insurance includes cover for a pup tent valued up to £50 as standard. If you have a more expensive tent, it can be covered in its own right by our Tent Camping Insurance policy.

    Is my trailer tent covered in Europe?
    Yes, Club Care’s Trailer Tent Insurance can provide European cover for up to 365 days, depending on your needs.

    I’m a Club member. Do I get any extra benefits by insuring through the Club?
    Yes, Club Care's Trailer Tent Insurance allows you to enjoy greater flexibility and choice, meaning you don’t have to pay for certain elements of cover you don’t need. Unlike many insurers, Club Care covers your trailer tent or folding camper regardless of value or if it’s imported.

    Do I need to be a member of The Camping and Caravanning Club to get a quote?
    No, you don’t need to be a member of the Club to get a quote from Club Care Insurance. However being a member will give you access to exclusive policy benefits across our range of insurance products. You’ll also benefit from our wide range of premium discounts as well as being part of any promotions that occur through the year.

    Is my trailer tent covered by my car insurance policy?
    Trailer Tent (and Folding Camper) Insurance isn’t a legal requirement in the UK, but we would strongly recommend that you insure yours. You never know when the unexpected may happen.

    Thefts of trailer tents are not uncommon as they are easy to hitch up and tow away. There’s also the possibility of damage caused by a natural hazard or damage occurring when not being towed, then it makes sense to protect your valuable investment.

    Remember, Trailer Tent Insurance covers you for more than just the unit itself. Club Care covers your contents and equipment as well, against theft, fire and accidental damage: so it’s well worth the investment.
